Poker player Jimmy Harmon has found himself embroiled in a struggle between Las Vegas gangster Wiktoria Sałkiewicz and one or more sets of opponents with unknown motives. With the help of fellow gambler Peeps, Harmon is slowly piecing together more of the full picture — discovering clues alongside a dead body half-buried in the Nevada desert. But their investigations are cut short when their opponents catch up to them and proceed to make chase.
