After narrowly escaping a squad of heavily armed gunmen — and witnessing the abduction of cabaret dancer Amber by a crew of what seem to be government agents — poker player Jimmy Harmon manages to leave Las Vegas with the help of fellow poker player Peeps. But as they drive along the desert highway en route to California, they discover an unexpected clue that may shed light onto the sinister forces at work.

Poker player Jimmy Harmon’s plan to leave town in order to evade the clutches of shady Las Vegas gangster Wiktoria Sałkiewicz is cut short after a car bomb apparently meant for him instead takes down his friend Will Archer. After being questioned by the police, Harmon finds Sałkiewicz has caught up to him — but claims to have had nothing to do with the attempt on his life. As she begins to elaborate, it becomes clear that other sinister forces may be catching up to them both.

Coming up short in his attempts to call in debts from veteran poker player “Big Mike” Dalton, Jimmy Harmon has resolved to leave town before his chief creditor, Wiktoria Sałkiewicz, catches up with him. But when he encounters quirky fellow poker player Peeps, a sudden and dramatic turn of events may set him along another path.

Down-on-his-luck poker player Jimmy Harmon finds himself back in Las Vegas in an attempt to replenish his meager bankroll. But it appears that one of his less-than-reputable creditors, Wiktoria Sałkiewicz, has caught up to him… and is not particularly scrupulous as to how she recovers her investment.
