Michael Gabel
Michael Gabel is an award-winning actor, director, talk show host, voice over talent, producer, educator, and artistic director for over 40 years. He has appeared on stage, screen, television, commercials, and industrials. He was part of The Loop Group providing numerous voices for The Wire.
He provided many voices for My Wonderful Radio Show a radio series for children. He along with Brook Stevens hosted The Morning Show on WVIE in Baltimore.
He has taught acting and film at American University, Catholic University, Montgomery College, the Smithsonian and The Theatre Lab.
He has twice been the recipient of the A.I.R Award (Achievement In Radio) Talent division, received seven Peer Awards for acting, and was awarded the Best Supporting Actor at the prestigious LA WEBFEST. He has also been part of award-winning projects with Tohubohu Productions and Del Ray Films. His latest project is The Familiar which is now screening at many festivals.
He has been named to Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals and was honored to be interviewed for the documentary “Acting from Stage to Screen” which featured the likes of Richard Spencer and Spike Lee.
Michael is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, WIFV-DC and TIVA-DC.
